AAR: Motives.

Motives: Some are better and one is best: 1) To serve and do good motivated by a better situation for one’s self is good. 2) To contribute motivated by a sense of duty, of role, of belonging, is better; throngs of good people do much good work for this motive. 3) Best motive is pure love, freely given, expecting no reward, often at personal sacrifice; even doing good when one is in pain, even doing good to those who seek to cause us pain.
When a man recognizes and accepts his motives, then he is empowered to change them. Why do you do the things you do? Why do you do them the way you do?
Let us honestly accept our current motives, and let us refine our motives
